Since I can remember, my life has been a series of cross-country road trips, flights, hikes, miles of bike trails, trains, and so much more. I have used my fair share of paper maps, and I still have an atlas in my car just in case my GPS steers me the wrong way, but even when I do get lost, I have always seen it as a grand adventure.

It is wonderful to finally say hello and welcome to my great adventure! My name is Kayli and I have been waiting for this day to come where I make my dream a reality.
To preface, I started this blog for my senior capstone class, but I have no intentions of shutting it down once I graduate. I have always had a passion for writing, photography and travel, and to have a platform where I am able to share my experiences, as well as to inform the public about the local and current events happening within my region, is such a blessing.
Let’s Get a Little Personal
I am from Canton, GA and am currently a student at Kennesaw State University studying Journalism and Emerging Media with a minor in Anthropology. I am excited to say that I graduate this December, and although bittersweet to see my undergraduate years come to a close, I am hopeful for the future and the opportunities that are to come my way.
When I am not doing homework and studying, I am in a sorority at my university and am also a member of KSU’s Panhellenic Council. My Greek life adventure will be talked about another time, but I am grateful for the community and the memories I have made from it.

Outside of school, I love to dive into the million different hobbies that I have picked up over the years. To list a few of the more prominent hobbies of mine:
- Baking
- Embroidering
- Hand Lettering
- Working Out
- Hiking
- Day-long Road Trips
- Longboarding
- Crocheting/Knitting
I also really enjoy simply being outside. I feel at peace when I am driving with my windows down, or when I am going on a long walk with no end destination. There is something about the outdoors that has always spoken to me, and it really comes out based on the things I like to do in my free time!
My family is a huge part of my life too, and I thank them for being the reason why I love to travel and learn more about the world around me. My mom and dad have been the best support system, my brother is my best friend, and my cat is truly my other half. We have been doing family trips for who knows how long, but they never get old. A personal favorite, and a little bias because it is my favorite state, was when we all went too Maine in the spring of 2018. The drive up the coast was stunning, and I am really grateful I got to experience it with them.

Let the Adventure Begin
As time goes on and I am able to go more places, I am looking forward to the adventures I am able to take you on. In the mean time, I plan on taking you through my homestead and introducing you to the beauty of North Georgia and what it has to offer.
Let’s get lost together, or as I like to say, let’s start an adventure!
